Girls together in front of a wall

We will directly help 24,824 children through Keys to the Future

Our pioneering projects

We provide direct support to Britain’s most vulnerable homeless children.

Homeless children need urgent help now. They miss weeks of education and struggle to keep up at school. Their health suffers, and they are prey to bullying, depression and loneliness.

Five of our planned six regional projects are now launched. They tackle the problems of health, education and teenage homelessness directly, and give children the help they really need – from reading buddies and homework clubs to realistic advice that will prevent young people from becoming homeless.

Happier, healthier futures

Our projects will help thousands of children enjoy happier, healthier lives. All the projects are being independently evaluated by the University of Birmingham and will be providing the Government with solutions to end child homelessness and the devastation it causes.

As well as supporting children now, our projects powerfully demonstrate to those who can make a difference – the Government, local authorities, schools and front-line services – the policies and practice that can change children’s lives in the future.
